Event videographer, video recording and photography in Dallas-Fort Worth.

We put cameras on your event and we run the sound in the same room, with the same crew, on the same quote. The audio on your recording comes off our mixing console instead of a camera microphone at the back of the hall, because the console is already ours.

How We Work

One crew for the room and the cameras

A Dallas event videographer is usually booked as a separate vendor from the audio company. That video crew shows up on the day, finds whoever is running the sound, and asks for a feed. Sometimes they get a good one. Sometimes they get handed a headphone jack twenty minutes before doors, and the recording ends up with room reverb and a ceiling fan on it.

We are already the audio company. The console is ours, the microphones are ours, and the feed to the recorder is set at the same line check where we set the mix for the room. Wireless microphones run our AI-powered De-Feedback system, so what the camera hears is the same clean channel the guests hear.

It also means one point of contact and one quote. You are dealing with one company that already knows its own audio feed.

What We Cover

Event videography and multi camera recording

Book us as your event videographer and our crew covers ceremonies, keynotes, panels, award presentations, band sets and full conference days, with Dallas event recording that runs from the first speaker to the last set. Our event videography follows the event as it happens rather than staging it, and the number of cameras is set by the room and what has to be captured. Tell us the schedule and we will tell you what it takes.

01

Sony A7 cameras

Spec Sony A7 full frame · 4K video and stills · tripod, sticks and roaming positions

Cameras are placed to the sightlines the room gives us: a locked wide that holds the whole stage, a tighter position on the speaker or the couple, and a roaming operator for reactions and cutaways. On a ceremony that means we shoot from the sides and the back, out of the aisle. On a keynote it means the screen content is readable in the frame. The A7 bodies shoot full frame stills as well as 4K video, so the roaming position covers both.

02

Blackmagic Mini ISO Pro switching

Spec Live switched program · every camera recorded separately

The switcher gives you a finished program cut on the night and it also records each camera on its own. If the wide angle was the right shot for a moment we cut away from, the footage is still there. You keep every angle, so the edit is made calmly afterward rather than live under pressure.

03

Audio taken off our console

Spec Line level feed from the mixing console · De-Feedback on wireless

Vows, toasts, keynotes and question and answer segments come off the same microphones the room is hearing, at line level, straight into the recording. Camera microphones are a backup track for us; the board feed is the sound. This is the difference people hear first when they play the recording back.

04

Slides, video and playback captured

Spec Presentation feed · recorded alongside the camera angles

If there is a deck, a sizzle reel or a tribute video on the screen, we take it as a source rather than pointing a camera at a projection surface. Text stays sharp and the audio from the video plays into the recording at full quality instead of through a room.

05

Multi day and multi room coverage

Spec Breakouts and general session · consistent look across rooms

Conferences rarely happen in one room. We cover a general session and breakouts running at the same time, keep the framing and color consistent so the recordings look like one event, and label everything by room and session as it comes off the cards.

06

Handover after the event

Spec Switched program · isolated camera files · the console audio track

You get the live switched program, the isolated files from each camera and the audio track from the console. Tell us up front what the footage is for, whether that is a highlight edit, internal training, a sponsor deliverable or a recap posted the next morning, and we spec the camera positions and the recording format around that answer.

Streaming

Live streaming to the people who could not travel

The same rig that records your event will stream it. Ceremonies for family watching from home, company town halls going out to remote offices, conference general sessions opened up to registrants joining online, memorial services for people spread across the country.

What decides event streaming is usually the audio and the venue network, in that order. We solve the first by taking the stream feed off our console the same way we take the recording feed. For the second we test the venue upload in advance and bring our own connection path when the house network needs the help. A stream that holds through the big moment is the whole job, so we build for that moment first.

We stream to the platform you already use, and we can record locally at full quality at the same time, so the stream and the archive are two separate things.

Photography

Event photography from the same crew and the same cameras

Plenty of clients want stills and video from the same event and would rather book it in one conversation. Our Sony A7 bodies shoot full frame stills and 4K video, so the photographs come from our own crew on the same cameras covering the room. Your event photographer and your camera operator are the same crew, working from the same plan, and it lands on one quote.

Planning both together is what makes the coverage work. An event photographer and a video crew who have not spoken will stand in each other's shots all night. Ours are the same people, so the still positions and the camera angles are worked out when we lay out the room, and both stay clear of the frame during the first dance or the award handoff.

Tell us the date, the venue and what you need the photographs for, and we will quote the stills, the video and the audio as one event.

Screens, projection and playback in the room

Projectors Epson PowerLite 700U ultra short throw · Epson Pro EX10000 long throw

Surfaces Front and rear projection screens · ambient light rejecting screen · 32, 43 and 65 inch flat panels

Recording an event and showing something to the room are usually the same booking. Slides behind a keynote, a photo montage during dinner, a live camera feed on a screen so the back of a ballroom can see a face, a sponsor loop between sessions.

The ultra short throw projector sits close to the surface, so the walk to the podium passes behind the beam. The long throw unit covers rooms where the projector has to live at the back. The ambient light rejecting screen is the one for a room that will not go dark, which in wedding and gala venues is most of them.

Things we will point you elsewhere for

Cheaper to read this now than to find out in a planning call. If any of it is what you need, say so and we will point you at someone who does it.

Scripted commercial production

We are an event company. We cover things that are happening on a date, in a room. Commercials, brand films and product videos are a production house's work, and we will point you to one.

Operators on every camera

Cameras go out with our operators. Our crew brings the gear, runs it and takes it away again.

Inflatable or outdoor movie screens

Those come from a screen vendor. Outdoor sound and outdoor coverage are both fine, and we will tell you honestly if the screen you have in mind is a job for a different vendor.

Editing on someone else's footage

We hand over the program cut, the isolated camera files and the console audio. Footage shot by another crew stays with that crew's editor.

Not sure how much coverage you need?

Tell us the run of show and the room and we will tell you what is worth covering. A single camera on a locked shot and a photographer working the room covers more events than a three camera build does, and we would rather say so than quote you the bigger one.

Questions

Event video and photography questions

Do you record the audio from your own mixing console?
Yes, and it is the reason to book the video with the audio company. The recording takes a line level feed from the same console that is feeding the room, so vows, toasts and keynotes arrive on the recording as clean channels rather than as a camera microphone picking up a room. Wireless microphones run our AI-powered De-Feedback system, so the feed to the recorder is the same clean signal the guests hear. Camera microphones are kept as a backup track only.
How many cameras do you bring to an event?
It depends on the room and on what has to be captured, so we set it when we know the schedule. A small ceremony can be covered from a couple of fixed positions. A conference general session usually wants a locked wide, a tighter position on the speaker and a roaming operator, plus the presentation feed as its own source. Send us the run of show and the venue and we will tell you what the event needs.
Can you live stream the event as well as record it?
Yes. The stream and the local recording run at the same time from the same rig, so the archive is a full quality file rather than a copy of the stream. We stream to the platform you already use. We test the venue upload in advance and bring our own connection path when the house network needs the help.
Do you shoot photography as well?
Yes. Our Sony A7 cameras shoot full frame stills and 4K video, and the same crew runs both, so your event photographer in Dallas-Fort Worth and your video crew are the same people, and the photographs and the video are booked and quoted as one event. The still positions and the camera angles are planned together when we lay out the room, so both stay clear of each other’s shots.
Do you cover events outside Dallas?
We cover the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, roughly a 40 mile radius from ZIP 76053. That includes Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Arlington, Irving, McKinney, Denton, Grapevine, Southlake and the surrounding cities. If your venue is further out, ask anyway and we will tell you honestly whether it works.
What do we get after the event?
The live switched program, the isolated file from each camera and the audio track from the console. Tell us up front what the footage is for, whether that is a highlight edit, internal training, a sponsor deliverable or a recap posted the next morning, and we spec the camera positions and the recording format around that.
Can you record a conference with several rooms running at once?
Yes. We cover a general session and breakouts running at the same time, keep the framing and color consistent so the recordings look like one event, and label every file by room and session as it comes off the cards. Sessions can be streamed and recorded at the same time.
Do you do commercial or promotional video production?
No. We cover events. We shoot and cut live events. Commercials, brand films, product videos and edits of somebody else's footage are worth taking to a production house. If that is what you are after, tell us and we will point you toward someone who does it.
